You are a Windows user, you need to have MS Windows access on your Linux workstation. You use Aptus to manage your networked workstations and you bought the Netraverse Win4Lin product to enable Windows applications to run on your Aptus client.
The following Win4Lin releases have been tested and certified to run on ShaoLin Aptus 2.0 .

You should first install Win4Lin on the Aptus server prior install Aptus.
Since Aptus clients have NFS home directories, you should add the following lines to the file /etc/default/merge
MERGE_DISABLE_FILESYSTEM_MMAP_CHECK=yesAfter you have installed Aptus and you should switch on the Win4Lin system service on your Aptus client by doing the following.
Go to Aptus Configurator, select (located at the top left corner). Change the to and click to switch Aptus Configurator to advanced mode.
Click on to your Aptus group icon, then go to . Pick the service called . In the table showing "Runlevels to start and stop in", pick for Run level 5. Then hit .
Reboot your Aptus clients and the Win4Lin service should be able to start during the Aptus client start up process. Then you can log on to Aptus clients and rung Win4Lin .
