8.3. Connect to the standby cluster from the active cluster

Instead of monitoring the cluster system at the standby cluster console, the Cluster Manager console can also be invoked from the active cluster. This facilitate SSH, telnet and virtual consoles. To start the Cluster Manager Console from command line and connect to the standby cluster, run slhamgrconsole -H [standby cluster IP address] which the IP address is specified in heartbeat configurations, see Section 5.3.1. Notice, you will have to enable remote control of the clusters to do this, please also see Chapter 5 and Section A.1 for information. If remote control is disabled, you will not able to connect the standby cluster using Cluster Manager Console.
