3.1. Required software packages

ShaoLin HA Cluster install into a standard Linux distribution. ShaoLin HA Cluster supports a list of Linux distribution, please see the latest ShaoLin HA Cluster release notes available at ShaoLin Microsystems support website online.In addition, the follow list of software packages are also required to install ShaoLin HA Cluster.

• Glibc 2

• Linux Kernel 2.4.X

• System V Init

• Webmin 0.90 or above

Glibc, Linux Kernel 2.4,and System V Init are standard software packages which will come with your Linux distribution. For Webmin, you should able to get a copy from ShaoLin HA Cluster software CD or get the latest version of Webmin package from Webmin official website.
