3.3. Linux kernel requirement

ShaoLin HA Cluster requires a certified and supported Linux 2.4 kernel to run. If you are not using a custom recompiled kernel, all support Linux distribution vendor kernels are certified and supported by ShaoLin HA Cluster. ShaoLin HA Cluster will not run (especially the Kernel Heartbeat Daemon) on a recompiled or custom modified kernel, even the kernel module is successful to load, it might cause malfunction or memory corruption to your system without notice. Please contact ShaoLin Microsystems or your local vendor to provide assistance on custom compiled kernel support.
