6.8. SIC - Cluster Member

Mostly, a cluster contains more then one server to support the services. Each server that within this cluster is called member, or a node.

6.8.1. SIC - Node Information

User can click on "Members" which is located at the Component Area, following screen will appear.

The available node will be display as icon on the "Member List" with the node status. User can put the mouse pointer over the node and the node description will be displayed.

When user make a right click on Members and select "Switch To Detail View", the Member list will be changed from icon view to a listed view. The list will shows "Member ID", "Host Name", "Public IP Address", and "Status" of the available node.

6.8.2. Member Status Information in Detail

The Member List gives user a quick overview about each node status. For more detail about a node, user can double click on the node from the "Member List" or, expand "Members" and select the node.

On the "Member Details", user can be able to read all the communication channels status. The columns display the connected members and all the connected communication channels status.

User can change the select member running status by clicking the button from the "Shortcut Bar" or right click and switch to the desired status.

6.8.3. Change Member Status

SuspendedIcon with this status means the resource group is suspended by user, and the resources group that is running on this member cannot be failover to the other member.
Maintenance

Remove Member

noneClick on this icon will remove the selected member, the removed member will need to run "slicsetup" in order to join the cluster again.
